We went to the Bin Yin Temple first. It was so, so hot and sticky! We looked around and took some pictures before heading to the Chen Clan Academy, a folk art museum. The building was really cool and had carvings in limestone on the building... pictures do not do it justice! It was an outside type of museum with little rooms you could go into and look at the art, bone carvings, embroidery, furniture, and sculptures. We all would have enjoyed it much more if it wasn't so HOT! The kids in our group were getting restless but we had one last stop before we headed back to the hotel- the pearl and jade market. Thankful that we only stayed there for maybe 30 minutes. A few of the ladies bought some earrings and bracelets and we want our way.
Nate is now taking a nap and I am cooling off!
I'm placing the scenery pictures in my photos on Pinterest in Places and Suitcases if your interested:)

Congratulations Kristy! He is so so cute! What a precious little guy!!
ReplyDeleteChina can be miserable in the heat! We have been there twice in July!
